oh. remember I had the flu two months ago. the cough was horrible. have you ever had that dry cough that barely lets you breath at all? what is that anyway?now I got it again. horible, horrible, horrible! It settled in my ears and had a really bad ear ache. the over the counter meds didn't work well. so I developed fevers. and I had to wait 2 freeking hours at the doctor's office. wow. the prescription med worked, but I got a stomach virus the next day. and I thought it was the medicine, but it wasn't. that sucked. I stayed home 3 days. oh and still I wasn't good. anyway. have any of you had 2 illnesses at once? what do ya think?

Ive had the flu and it played nasty tricks on my epilepsy I didnt have a clue which way was up or otherwise.
Ouch! I havne't been sick twice at once, that I can remember, but it sounds horrible. Hope you all feel better soon, lol.

it has been the second time I had the flu in a row. last time was on november first and the second time was on december 29. How long was that? calculate? anyway, after I went to the doc, I had stomach problems the next day. anyway, im exampt from most of my finals. Have you ever taken vitamins that are gummy bears? post what ever? see you.

I had the flu right after Christmas, and it was the first time in five years. I hardly ever get sick...I haven't had a head cold in over a year. *knock on wood*

Darn it all, I got logged out twice, but anyway,I haven't had the flu in a long time, but I've had those coughs that barely give you time to breathe. The coughs are that stuff that gets down in your head and chest, trying to get out. It even makes my ears roar, sounds like I have the ocean right in my head.I don't know why it does that, and I feel like an oddball when other people say they don't have that.

Yeah I almost never get sick either. My immune system is liek awesome. And I can't tell you how I do it. I have no clue. I eat lots of junk food, maybe that does it ehehehe jkjkjk! Anyway Priscy, not fair! you got exempt from finals? I'm still taking mine!

Hey Priscilla I just came down with a cold/flu yesterday. My nose is running and I've been sneezing off and on. My throat hurts a little, but I'm not coughing just yet. Damn damn damn! Why me?

last year, I got the flu on the month of may? oh man. that is horrible. and it was really nice and warm outside. I have no idea why. I think it means that I can get real sick any time, I think. I don't get it. what do yo think?

I hardly get sick either. Just eat healthy and wash your hands, and stuff like that. There's no secret trick involved. I need to stay healthy though because I'm a telemarketer and I need my voice.

hey all. Im having problems today. I had aches in my legs wednesday which were really bad. I would get up sweaty for two days and feel very cold. and today im freeking stuck with a cold which started yesterday in my stomach. that is why I had pains. and I have to go to a party tuesday. what can I do?
Definitely go to the docrot or at least tell your parents. It's not good to be walking around sick like that. You should ask a cortor why you get sick so easily, maybe he'll have an answer.
but what are all those symtomes mentioned above? like 2 days being sweaty, having aches in my legs the next day, having pains in my stomach, and then becoming a cold which drove me nuts. I told my mom and she sayd nothing. but im good now , only coughing too much and sounding stuffy.
I dunno I'm not a doctor unfortunately lol. If you want to kno what they mean then tell your mom to schedule ya a doctor's appointment, I'm sure your mom and the doc'd be glad to help you, and they'd give you way better answers than I could heh! Hope all goes well!

yeah, cause I had aches, stomach problems after the stomach virus, and it turned into a cold. ow. oh, well. that friday, couldent sleep cause the aches were unbearable. anyway, school is closed today cause of the snow.
And for that I am jealous of you. I guess those are the downsides of living in the "metro area" of NY...

no more flu like I said it supposed to be. but I had unbearable aches and pains all over the place. and now I had itchy eyes. I don't know, but that is all right. easter comming up!
hey all. I have a sore throat. it has been 2 days now. and I have no cold symptoms. gosh! I had to deal with it at the tour for a rehabilatation center. im staying there 4 months. I have no idea. and last week I had only aches all over. and my eyes bothering me thursday. oh, gosh. somthing is in my throat. please reply. ooooooooops!
oh, 3 days after having a sore throat, I completely lost my voice. then, I woke up with a very upset stomach like throwint up sensations and a really bad head ache. that was caused by a high fever of 100. and the doc said oh, sounds like flu again. and I was on a medicine called Tussal for 10 days. wat a hard battle of recovery cause I had the cold for 2 weeks. oh. anywayk, im excepted to seton hall university.

oh im now in college. classes start on monday and i am as sick as adog. I started feeling bla on wednesday afternoon after comming home from a croded bank with my uncle. then yesterday i felt ill and got worst during the night. i hope its not flu because i start classes monday. it totally sucks.

well i eventually got as sick as a dog again a month ago. damn a banging sore throat, high fever of 100 and somthing 1002 or 3 or i don know. and i had aches 3 times worse as when someone sits on you who is 200 lbs. for 2 days which was the whole weekend before going to class from springbreak. anyway i am finishing the semester this year. and im living in a college dorm next year definitely.

Sometimes, i wake up 3 in the morning coughing up a storm.
i hate this because it is not like i have runny nose or anything.
see, at first, i had a sore throat and, sometimes, when i wake up in the morning, it is very sore.
Someone who posted here on this board said something about moving in to college dorms? I would highly recommend you GET YOUR VACCINE for MENINGITIS. a horrible disease, with what can be deadly consequences The Scary part about it? You never know who is a carrier and who isn't. For all I know, I could be one.
last summer i had the flu and it was 95 degrees outside.
it was the worst day because the flu affected my stomach 3 days before my brother's high school graduation.
but here is the worse part, i had a huge huge huge amount of chest congestion without getting stuffed nose which wasn't so bad.
but chest congestions take alot longer than head colds for a fact.
and before that i had fluids in my left ear which started causing bad earaches.
3 days later, the flu reared its ugly head.
and the tripple aches and pains all over my body with very hard to clear chest congestion and a moderately to mild stuffed nose.

I hate getting the flue. The past 3 years I have had the flue, and then what do ya know, i get Pnamonia. I'll be getting the flue shot next year for sure.

Since January, I've had two flus. One was 3 days ( vomiting, severe diarrhea, fever, headache and dizziness. ,my son and my husband both had it. It was miserable. The second flu I had was in late February, and that one was these God-awful aches and pains that made me cry in the night and a fever. Then I got this chest congestion that lasted over two weeks. Pretty miserable stuff.
ii know whenever i get a very bad cold or the flu, it always settles in my chest.
especially now since i am in college.
worse off because i get the bad flu in college.
i am just getting over a cold and i remember well, my birthday present was a pretty nice coughing fit at the store that was so embarrasing.
it was so uncontrolable that people were like "what is wrong with this person?" this happened at the upstate new york outlets on sunday. this sucks.
I was fine on tuesday morning until i came back to my dorm from easter break and then felt so sick during the night with a horrible fever and bad sinus congestion.
I wasn't sleeping hardly anything or eating much for days.
I don't get sick offten iether. But back in February I had a stomach virus. My mum and sister had it to. My sister had to go in to hospital because she is pregnant as well.
at least i didn't get the flu at all except the time where i got sick when i came back from new york.
that day i had aches, fever. ad stomach pains, with no other symptoms for 2 days. just fevers of 100 101 and very horrible aches all over, even my bach and chest. my roomate was like "i hope you don't have the flu" she gets scared about the flu and said "i can't wait for the vaccine.
Interpreter, I believe flu shots start next month where I live. It sounds like you need to get one. I got flu two years ago and was sick for four straight months. I was diagnosed with adult onset asthma, and now I don't go without these shots as the flu would be more serious for me as part of a high risk group. If you have been stuck with flu, what was it, two times this year? I would suggest the seasonal flu shot.
i hope i don't get the colds or anything. i'm flu free this year as well as period free. oops, sorry.
anyway i hope i don't get anything since i was just diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency and i've heard that your immune system can screw up. Is this true that your immune system goes out of wack if you don't have enough vitamin D?
shit, i keep forgetting to get the prescriptions from the pharmacy, but i've been busy with filling out stuff for participating in this work force program that is sponsored through my school.
Any one who takes prescriptions, how do i know the dose to take if i were to be home alone since mom and my uncle work practically all day?

but anyway, i have another appointment to monitor my levels to see if theyare Ok and ontop of that, the doctor has to discuss my lab results in detail which to me is kind of surprising, don't know why.
maybe they want to make sure i don't have something else going on that is causing this. i had no symptoms that explain the low lvels of D except pain in my hips when i put my legs up for certain periods of time especially on the floor which i thought oh, it's because i'm on a hard surfice and getting up alittle lightheaded. but i again didn't think anything.
i did point the doctor that i had pain on my hips god damn i'm only 23 years old what the heck! ontop of that, i have a yeast infection all over my face for which i'm putting anti-fungal creams which is not fu, and my hair is messed up too because of the yeast infection on my scalp so i have to use anti-fungal stuff on top of this whole crap full of nonsense. All because of the stress of family issues that go deeper than what they really ar. long storyshort, my parents don't get along anymore with each other and are separating. Dad didn't even go to my college graduation because he had issues with mom and a lot of stuff from that respect. this is no fun.
how do i know the dosage to take if i'm on prescription meds?
i hate the kraft singles commercial as well as the product. Mom always seems to buy that cheese but i don't eat that. well she buys it because "oh it's cheaper." i'm like if you buy that stuff i won't eat. that's the reason why i don't eat cheese or too much dairy because of the quality of the products i can notice a big difference.
